Synthetic Garden Pots
Variety in Synthetic Garden Pots
Synthetic Garden Pots are made from a variety of materials, including different kinds of plastic, resin and fiberglass, definitely man-made and not a natural product. They are, in most cases recyclable and come in a variety of shapes and sizes.
Plastic
Synthetic garden pots made from plastic are usually lightweight, inexpensive and durable. They hold water well, and therefore are water conserving, but do not store reserves. They usually come with a number or drainage holes in the bottom. They are not the most sustainable choice, and they do deteriorate over time, in the sun.

Resin and Fiberglass
Synthetic garden pots made of resin or fiberglass are stiffer than traditional plastics. They are lightweight and very decorative. They have the look and shape of ancient urns. They hold water well and last for decades. Their one drawback is that they are quite expensive.
